Healed from Severe Arthritis

Elaine J.

I think it was around September/October I started experiencing lower back pain. I went to my doctor and was told I had a kidney stone which I’ve had problems with over the years. The pain was getting harder to bear so I went back to the doctor.

I must have passed the kidney stone but was told I had a lot of muscle tension and was given a muscle relaxant. I took it, but the pain was so intense that I couldn't sit up straight and the only way I could sleep was to sit on the bed with a pile of pillows in front of me and lean forward on them. My doctor then added another prescription, Oxycodone.  I couldn't do much taking them, so I just took Advil 600 ml instead. All through this I’d listen to healing sermons on my tablet; I had them playing all night so I’d hear them when I’d go to sleep and when I’d wake up.

Finally  I went to emergency  where I was  given a CT Scan and wasn't given much information except that I needed to go back to my doctor to talk about the results and to continue with the pain pills.
When I discussed the CT scan with my doctor I was told I had severe arthritis in my spine. I was given yet another prescription (Lyrica) which I was given a box of in the doctor's office, but the minute he passed it to me I knew in my sprit that I was not supposed to take it. So I have muscle relaxants, Oxycodone and now Lyrica. I was told to take all of them as prescribed so I could sleep and when pain woke me up to repeat them. Wow this was so crazy to me; I didn’t know what I was going to do. I started entertaining the enemy’s lie that I would not be able to live alone because I couldn’t do anything for myself.

I picked up my Charles Capps book of healing scriptures and started reading them and I started walking around speaking the scriptures out loud and I could feel power/strength going through me. For sure the Word is alive and sharper than a two-edged sword.

That same night I slept on my back for the first time and woke up in the morning with no pain. I decided to stop the Advil and a few days later still no pain.

On November 20th I went up for prayer and Pastor Gary and Pastor Nancy said these words over me, "it’s finished today," without even knowing the details, and I received that in the name of Jesus.
My doctor had his nurse set up an appointment with me to see how I was doing. I told him I was great, and when he asked if I required any medication, I told him no that I was good, to which he looked surprised.
We have to get the revelation of how much God loves us which I didn't fully receive before. Thinking that I'm no one special for God to be concerned with is another lie from the enemy. It's not just for someone else; it’s for me and you!!!!! God, our heavenly Father wants us well, sickness and disease are from the devil who’ll do anything to distract us from the truth.

We sometimes get complacent when things are going smoothly  but we have to keep the Word in our eye gate and ear gate at all times, the devil is a liar, don't give him an opening.  I haven’t taken any more medication, not even Advil, since November.

Thank you God for your Grace and Mercy and healing power!

Balance Restored!

Candace W. - January 15, 2017

I got healed during pre-service prayer this morning! I've had minor issues with my balance for a long time, but never really thought much about it. During prayer, when we were supposed to be quietly resting in the peace of God, I noticed I was standing straight without having to sway or do anything to keep my balance. I'd just noticed this and was still processing it when God moved on our prayer leader to call me out if I saw or had anything, I felt like the kid that got caught talking in class haha! We're supposed to be enjoying the presence of God and I'm busy looking at my feet! It all worked out though, He gave me something to say and I've been standing steady the whole day, God is so good!! Psalm 18:33

Blind Eyes See!

Norah R. - May 2016

On Saturday, May 7 during our last Alpha weekend session, the Holy Spirit was moving greatly and graciously. I responded to a call for prayer. I had a stroke over 10 years ago which had left me legally blind along with some other deficits. The Holy Spirit prompted me and I realized that I could be healed. I asked for my sight to be restored and my brain healed. As I was prayed over I felt a strong certainty that I was healed! Since that day, I have had an increase in my vision daily. I have also been given a renewed thirst for God’s Word. He has sharpened my mind. I am so excited by what God is doing in my life. I give Him all the glory, praise and heartfelt thanks.
Your sister in Christ, Norah.

Healed From Shingles!

Gerald R. - December 2015

May I encourage you all for a couple of minutes? December 1, 2015 I was doing John 16:33 while having some tribulation, but if you keep reading it also says to "be of good cheer, I have overcome." I drove to the emergency room around midnight that day. My left leg was hurting really, really bad, I couldn’t sleep or walk. The doctor looked at my back left leg, quickly took a picture with her cell phone, showed it to me and said "you have a bad case of shingles, the discharge nurse will come give you a medication prescription” and started to leave, all in less than a minute. That was fast. I told her “Wait, second opinion please, how long?” She stopped and said “It will take at least 5 weeks to heal shingles, pain can remain longer”. I quietly told her, “no, 2 weeks,” that was my heart speaking. Luke 6:45 says “A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks”. Two weeks is a better treasure in me heart than five weeks. Two weeks fell on Wednesday, December 16, so I went to the altar at the end of the service on. I have faith in Isaiah 53:5 and 1 Peter 2:24 “with his stripes we are and were healed”. With faith we also need works. James 2:20 says “faith without works is dead”. I used my crutches to go to the altar call. After Jordan prayed, that was when I knew I must do the works that James 2:20 talks about, I had to do something. I walked without crutches for the first lap around the church and I fell down. Micah 7:8 says “Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I shall arise.” That's not a debate folks, so I got back up and walked again. Was it painful? Very much so. I decided right there that failure, defeat is not in my future. One thing I learned from Pastor Gary is that quitting is not an option. I will not be like the Israelites and camp out for 40 years. Romans 8:31 “If God is for me, who can be against me?” Pain must leave, that not a debate folks. You and I must not accept anything less than our healing. On the second lap I jogged. By the third lap, the pain left. I ran doing 1 Corinthians 15:57, thanking God, which give us, me the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

You have a great 3 John 2 day!

Blessed to be a Blessing!

NCMC Member - September 2015

I felt prompted to review my faith-projects notebook this weekend, and when I did, I found one project from May 2014 where I’d written out that I was believing for a specific amount of income every month from one job, (I was working at two at the time, the latter of which I didn’t really enjoy). In August 2014, God prompted me to leave the second job and sow my time into the first job (which I enjoyed doing), so I did, which cut my income in half. That cut to my income lasted until June 2015, and I must say God was faithful to me in that throughout that time, I did not go without for anything. He instructed me on how to budget my finances and He filled in the blanks through blessings from various sources. Around May 2015, God started dealing with me on Matthew 6:33 and putting His things first and what that really looks like. Prior to this revelation, I had been diligent in giving tithes and offerings, but was not diligent in making giving my first priority. I repented and made the adjustment, putting giving into God’s kingdom ahead of everything else. I knew a raise was coming in June, and set it in my heart that before spending anything on myself, I wanted to increase my giving into partnering with other ministries as well as giving to the church. I was led to not commit my finances to anything beyond what I owed, i.e. rent, car payment, etc. so that when I was prompted to bless someone I would have the means to do it. Since making that adjustment, I have noticed that God has made my salaried income stretch further, and I’ve been able to be a blessing to others in big things as well as small things. I’ve also noticed God has entrusted me with more opportunities to be a blessing, and praise God, since my raise, my monthly income is almost $100 more than what I’d asked for back in 2014 at a job I truly enjoy! What a faithful God we serve!

Another United Vision Has Come to Fruition!

NCMC Member - September 2015

When we made our lists for United Vision for Provision Sunday God put four specific items on my heart that I desired to give into the Kingdom this year, all of which were rather large seeds compared to what I could afford at the time. Between a raise and some divine connections which have led to supernatural increase in other areas, God has certainly showed up! So far out of the four giving items on my list, I can now say two have come to pass already, and I eagerly anticipate the fulfillment of the remaining two! Praise God!!

Healed During Worship Service!

NCMC Member - August 2015

I want to share what happened to me during the service August 2 when we praised and worshipped for the whole service. I had been praising the Lord at the front and went to sit down for a bit as Pastor Gary and Pastor Nancy spoke for a few minutes. As we were worshipping again after that, I heard the Lord say I'm calling people up (to the altar) so I went up to kneel at the altar. As I started to walk up I could hardly lift my right leg and my knees felt wonky. I kneeled down at the steps at the side and stayed there for some time praising and worshipping God, it felt good. When I got up, I realized that all the stiffness, soreness and pain was gone and everything was strong!!
I know it was the healing power of God, Holy Spirit himself! Thank you Lord!!!

United Vision Has Come to Fruition!

NCMC Member - June 2015

This is from our United Vision for Provision Sunday March 1st. Two of the items we’d listed were to pay off outstanding tuition and health for my dad - doctors felt that he was to receive a bad prognosis, but God made a way!! By May finances were added to us supernaturally to pay off outstanding tuition and my dad's health report was a CLEAN bill of health! Praise our faithful God! We are believing for the remainder of the vision items to come in too!!

Redeemed from the Curse of the Law!

NCMC Member - June 2015

I was battling terrible illness that would come in association with my monthly cycle. Once a month since January there would be one day where I would be so overcome with flu-like symptoms that made it just about impossible to work and I couldn’t keep anything I ate down. I stood on 1 Peter 2:24 and Galatians 3:13 whenever it would strike and stuck to it, even mid-sickness. Knowing this was my past experience, the enemy kept playing that in mind as my next cycle approached, but I reminded him that I was redeeemed from the curse of the law and glory to God this month marks the first month I have not had any illness!! Praise God He is my Healer!!

God Parted the Sea of Red Tape!

Marg M. - December 2014

I was engaged in a legal battle over a document I needed to sell my home from July 10-October 12 this year, and praise God, I won! Some of the verses I stood on included;

• ‘The Lord foils the plans of the nations; he thwarts the purposes of the peoples.’ Psalm 33:10 NIV
• ‘I will go before you and make the crooked places straight; I will break in pieces the gates of bronze and cut the bars of iron.’ Isaiah 45:2
• ‘And we know that all things work together for the good of those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.’ Romans 8:28
When I was tempted to fall into fear, I would pray and declare my choice to step into love. From the beginning the pastoral staff at NCM instructed me to put the care of my situation on the altar whenever worry would try to come, so that’s exactly what I did. Throughout the battle, whenever I was tempted to fear, I would pray for encouragement and God would use our daily devotional or something from KCM’s devotional, or Pastor Gary’s message to minister to me. God gave me this declaration of faith to stand on; “When God gets through with my enemies, I will enter into a supernatural wealth transfer.”  And that is exactly what happened. God is so good!

Heart Restored

Dorothy H. - June 2015

To God be the glory!

What can I say, the Lord did it all...My heart wasn’t in good shape, there was major artery blockage and doctors were saying I would need a bypass surgery to fix it. I had difficulty breathing and pain.

My experience while in the hospital was truly amazing, I felt the Lord was present embracing me through it all. The doctors, nurses and others around me were in awe because of my attitude and acceptance of what had happened. Yes I was completely in shock to hear that my heart was in really bad condition, but my fears were taken away because I knew that the Lord was going to intervene and wipe away all of my fears, and He did just that. I knew that He would take control.

I often pointed many times towards the ceiling to the doctors letting them know that it was the Lord, that He would see me through it all, they of course smiled nicely towards my gestures. The blockage disappeared, I never had bypass surgery and I am doing well, praise God!

Love you all, thank you for all of your prayers,

Sister Dorothy

Quitting Is Not An Option

Gerald R.

I can relate with Paul when he said in 2 Corinthians 12:7 “there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me”. Does kidnapping at gunpoint or the deer accident, or terminal cancer, or total blindness while riding my Harley (and that was just in the past 5 years) qualify as thorn in the flesh? One thing I learned from Pastor Gary about failure is that defeat is not in my future, and quitting is not an option. I may be knocked down along the way but Micah 7:8 says “Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the LORD shall be a light unto me.” If the devil knocks me down four times I get up five. One thing I’ve learned, is that living in the past is not happening. Sure the Bible says in John 16:33 “In the world ye shall have tribulation” but don’t stop reading and say “that’s it I’m done.” Keep on reading! “But be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” I forgave everybody and any animals that did me wrong because I will not allow unforgiveness to stop my harvest. Jesus is Lord!

Restoration and Promotion

Anonymous - May 2015

At Anchored Young Adults (May 14) God gave Candace a word about Restoration being available if the people present would press into worship, and I received it. On Wednesday (May 20) Deci and Pastor Nancy prayed for me, and yesterday (May 21) I got final confirmation, the company I originally worked for is not only rehiring me but also promoting me! Praise God!

Broken Finger Restored

Pastor Shirley - November 2014

Praise the Lord!! A co-worker had broken her finger at work one night and showed it to me just after it happened. It was her middle finger, and the tip of her finger drooped down limply, while the rest of it was straight. I told her that God could restore her finger back as good as it originally was. We could just come to God and ask in the prayer of agreement together for Him to perform a creative miracle or whatever way He chose, to fix her finger back whole. She was full of hope and eager to agree, as her finger did not look good. We prayed the prayer of faith, as I held her hand, and I told her that every time that she looked at her finger to thank God that it was healed and whole!  She also wanted to get it checked out at the doctor’s and so we prayed that the doctor would make a correct diagnosis. I told her to keep expecting a good report, even if it did not appear that anything was happening for a while, because miracles are instant, and healings happen over time. A couple of weeks later I saw her again at work and her finger was in a splint for six weeks. The original report of the doctor’s,  said that she would need surgery to fix it (and she did not want to be off work for recovery time), or that it would stay that way the rest of her life if no surgery was performed. She also had to go for physio therapy for her finger and keep the splint on the rest of the time. When it got close to the time for her surgery they removed the splint and checked her finger over a last time.  All glory to God, her finger did not need surgery as the tendon had healed on its own. She had come running up to me at work again calling, “Shirley, Shirley! Look at my hands! They are perfectly normal!!”  Her finger tip was once more perfectly straight when she held her two hands out together. I rejoiced with her and she said that she just kept thanking God that her finger was restored every time that she looked at it or thought about it.
